Elizabeth O'Donnell's education and professional licensing as a financial planner in Denver, Colorado

Elizabeth O'Donnell is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (TM) in Denver, Colorado specializing in retirement planning.

I have worked hard to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER or CFP®. When a financial planner becomes certified by the CFP® Board, they enter a standard of accountability for their clients set by the CFP® Board.

Attaining and maintaining this certification is very difficult. Planners must have at least three years of experience before even being allowed to sit for the exam. CFP®  Board's rigorous process of certification demands both a vast fiduciary knowledge base and a high commitment to ethical standards. Having passed and maintained this credential for nearly a decade is a great source of professional pride in my career.

Helping clients "make informed decisions about their money" sums up my professional practice. I work with individuals, families, business owners, and estate fiduciaries through all phases of their financial life-cycle from accumulation and preservation to distribution. I enjoy sharing my experience in public forums and leading financial planning seminars.

My association with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC, a top-tier broker-dealer with innovative technology and a non-proprietary environment, aids me in delivering the most current and solid advice to my clients. I collaborate with a team of specialists and top industry professionals and receive continual updates on financial products and legal changes that affect the industry. My registration with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC coupled with my planning experience and knowledge of financial strategies, ensures that clients receive solid financial advice addressing their personal circumstances and concerns.

Before joining Cetera Advisor Networks LLC and forming my own independent financial planning group, I worked as a Financial Advisor and District Manager at Waddell & Reed where I developed a thriving practice and managed a team of seven financial advisors. Prior to Financial Planning, I worked as a Global Account manager for Advanced Digital Information Corporation, managing a rollout of service into 60 countries. Before receiving my MBA, I spent four years in South Korea as a University Professor and Corporate Trainer. I worked in the areas of sales, service, instruction, and management for over 15 years prior to entering the area of Financial Planning.
